PVGP Schedule for 2021 Corvette Marque Activities
The 39th Annual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is the nation’s largest vintage street race. The 10-day event includes car shows, parades, a black-tie gala and a Tune-Up Party. Please see the schedule below for details and links for Corvette events featured throughout the PVGP Race Week. We are excited to welcome the new C8 Corvette and all Corvettes to Pittsburgh this summer!

C1 thru C8 Corvette Displays
To showcase the long history of the Corvette at this year’s Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, one car from each of the 8 Generations will be lined up for displays at Pitt Race on Saturday & Sunday, July 17 & 18, Waterfront Car Cruise on Tuesday, July 20, the Downtown Display on July 21, and in Schenley Park on Saturday & Sunday, July 24 & 25, and the Marque of the Year Parade Lap on Sunday, July 25.
Historic Race Weekend at Pittsburgh International Race Complex
Historics at Pitt Race
July 16-18 – Pitt Race Complex
– Vintage Corvettes will race in “Ground Pounders” Group and late model Corvettes will race in the “Modern Historic” Group
– Single session Vette vs. Viper Race on Sunday afternoon (if enough cars are entered).
– Display area for Corvette Car Show to watch the races from the Water Tower Hill – $10/day. Complete this Application if you would like to be in the special C1 thru C8 Corvette display.
– Historic and vintage cars will be on track with winners recognized in the Hofbrauhaus Winners Circle.
– Admission is $20 per day, children 12 and under are free. The hours are 9 AM – 5 PM. Buy tickets here
– Catch a ride for a lap of the track in a vintage car at lunchtime on the weekend to help raise funds for our charities.

Walnut Street Invitational Car Show
Sunday, July 11 – Kick-Off Rallye
– A countryside tour and a scavenger hunt rolled into one – a casual and fun event with no experience required.
– Starts and ends at Smokey Bones at Pittsburgh Mills.
– Your $75 entry includes participation in the Rallye and meal for the driver and navigator.
– Special prize for the highest finishing Corvette entered.

Friday, July 16 – Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala
– Formal party at Valley Brook Country Club in Canonsburg.
– Tickets are $295 per person. A special display of Corvettes attending.

Downtown Car Show
Monday, July 19 – Walnut Street Invitational Car Show
– This is an invitational Car Show in Shadyside with 125 cars.
– There will be a special display of C1 through C8 Corvettes.
– Show is free to attend and runs from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

Tuesday, July 20 – Waterfront Car Cruise
– All Corvettes will be parked in the feature area. Complete this Application if you would like to be in the special C1 thru C8 Corvette display.
– This is open to the public car cruise at the Waterfront Shopping Center in Homestead.
– $5 donation to be in the show that features 750 cars of all types.

Tune-Up Party
Wednesday, July 21 – Downtown Car Display
– PVGP will host car displays until 2:00 PM at Market Square, PPG Place and USX Tower.
– $10 donation to be in the show.
– A special display of Corvettes at PPG Place.

– This is a car-themed party from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM in the SouthSide Works
– Registration to be in the Automotive Showcase opens in May 2021

Schenley Park Car Show
Race Weekend and International Car Show at Schenley Park
Saturday, July 24 – Marque of the Year Car Exhibit
– Be a part of the International Car Show on the Bob O’Connor Golf course.
– Special area for Corvette owners to display in the Marque area. The cost is $60 for the weekend (no single-day rate available).
– The Western PA Chevy Dealers are providing a complimentary lunch for all pre-registered Corvettes drivers and passengers on Saturday. Additional lunches will not be available or for sale – so register today! SOLD OUT
– The Western PA Chevy Dealers will have a Hospitality Tent and special display featuring the new C8 Corvette!
– Participants receive commemorative PVGP Race Program, decal and special parking for the weekend.
– Watch vintage races through the streets of Schenley Park.

Sunday Parade Lap on Track
Sunday, July 25 – Marque of the Year Car Display and Lap of the Track
– Be a part of the International Car Show on the Bob O’Connor Golf course.
– Special area for Corvette owners to display in the Marque area. The cost is $60 for the weekend (no single-day rate available).
– The Western PA Chevy Dealers will have a Hospitality Tent and special display featuring the new C8 Corvette!
– Participants receive a commemorative PVGP Race Program, decal, and special parking for the weekend.
– Opportunity to drive your Corvette on the track for parade lap at 11:00 – $25 donation. You must also be registered for the show.

Weekend July 24/25 – Vintage Racing
– Vintage Indy Exhibition each afternoon.
– Vintage cars racing on track all weekend.
– Corvette C1 1953 thru 1962 under 265 cubic inches are eligible to race with us. Racers must be licensed and the car must be approved.
