Schenley Park Race Weekend

Saturday, July 18, 2026
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix returns to Schenley Park for a summer weekend that feels like Pittsburgh at its best. With the full street circuit back in action, drivers will zoom across the Panther Hollow Bridge and wind through the park, racing within 50 feet of the crowd. It’s close, a little loud, and unlike anything else!

FEATURES

Vintage Racing

Feel the thrill as vintage race cars charge through Schenley Park, battling wheel to wheel on a historic street circuit lined with hay bales, stone walls, and thousands of spectators.

Saturday and Sunday deliver nonstop on-track action, from qualifying sessions to feature races and crowd-favorite exhibitions that keep the energy high throughout the day. Every corner, straight, and braking zone puts you right on top of the action, with cars just feet away as they battle through one of the most unique street circuits in the world.  Cars are on track both days with qualifying sessions on Saturday and the Helltown Winners Circle on Sunday.  Driver Details & Registration

Featured Track Exhibitions

Experience even more action during the midday exhibition sessions. Take a thrilling passenger ride in the BMW Ring Taxi, watch the return of last year’s crowd-favorite drifters as they slide through the Schenley Park circuit with incredible precision, and cheer on collegiate Formula teams from Carnegie Mellon, Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia University, and NJIT as they showcase the engineering talent, innovation, teamwork, and competitive spirit driving the future of motorsports.

International Car Show

Explore more than 3,000 remarkable vehicles displayed across the golf course all weekend, from rare classics to modern exotics, surrounded by passionate owners, car clubs, and enthusiasts celebrating automotive history.

Off the track, Schenley Park transforms into one of the largest car shows in the country. Nearly 3,000 vehicles fill the Bob O’Connor Golf Course, from vintage classics and muscle cars to modern exotics and curated marque displays. Car clubs and individual enthusiasts are invited to take part in the show, displaying their vehicles in front of tens of thousands of passionate fans all weekend long. Details & Registration

Experience & Hospitality

Enjoy a full day of food, drinks, vendors, and family-friendly activities, with access to the paddock and prime viewing areas that put you right in the heart of the action.

Your admission donation unlocks the full experience. Wander the car shows, explore the paddock, and take in the sights and sounds from the Start/Finish line at Phipps as the cars thunder past. This is not a distant viewing experience, you are part of it.

Plan your visit with the option that fits your day. On Sunday, upgrade to Patron Parking and place yourself right on the golf course in the center of the action. For both days, Flagstaff Hill offers convenient public parking with shuttle service to keep you connected to everything happening in the park.

Sponsor Activities

Beyond the racing, Schenley Park is filled with activities for the entire family. Enjoy car shows, grab a slice from Caliente Pizza, our Car Show Sponsor, sample wines from SanaView Farms Winery and cocktails from Lucky Sign Spirits, relax at the UPMC Cooling Tent and Peoples Gas Kids Tent with family-friendly activities, test your skills on the free Ghost Energy racing simulators, and experience the excitement of the lunchtime drifting exhibition. There’s something happening around every corner all weekend long.
