Caution: Curves Ahead Tour!

Saturday, October 24, 2020
Tours start at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM

The Western PA Triumph Club orchestrates the British Car Day Concours at PVGP every year, but they are also a very active driving club! They decided that in light of not being able to have a car show this summer in Schenley Park that they would support PVGP and their charities with a back roads tour in the style of the Countryside Tour.

This new, special event will occur on Saturday, October 24, with two separate tours of 25 cars each. One at 9:00 am and a second at 11:00 am.

Club members Bud Osbourne and Gary Fredo have a great day planned that will take you over some wonderfully curvy, plunging, Washington County back roads and deliver you to a great country restaurant and tavern so that you can shake the thirst and appetite you have built up while on the road. Click the blue box below to register. If you cannot attend, we have an ’in-spirit-donation’ option, and we’ll send you a small token of appreciation.

The donation is $40 per car and includes all passengers. Maximum of 25 participants.
Does not include food or drink at the Bull Pen Rustic Inn

Participants arrive at the lot across from the Shop n Save off the Imperial/Oakdale exit of Rt 22/30 (600 Market Place Drive, Oakdale Pa 15071). The route will cover about 80 curvy miles on scenic back roads, with only short pieces being on main roads.

Through the twists and turns of Route 50 you’ll find a special place that will surely become one of your favorite hangouts. The Bull Pen Rustic Inn provides all of the elements that make a perfect tour destination. The location is off the beaten path in Avella, a small town near Cross Creek Lake with a history that includes some of North America’s earliest inhabitants.
We will space out small touring groups out depending on attendance, and you can decide to have lunch and/or a drink at the end at the Bull Pen Rustic Inn (301 Country Park Rd, Avella PA 15312) or go on about the rest of your Saturday. If you prefer to picnic with your own food or take-out, Cross Creek Park is nearby. Hope to see you there!
