Preservation
The PVGP is proud to maintain a place for these time capsule cars and the people who own and race them This is a group of predominately European sports cars that are just the way they were produced in the 50’s & 60’s when they would be driven to the track, the spare tire and tools removed, headlamps taped up and the cars would hit the track. At the end of the day, tires were changed, tape pulled off, tools and chairs loaded back in the boot and you drove home! To be eligible to race as a preservation car, the car needs to be very stock, not counting safety requirements such as belts, roll bars and fuel cells. The car must drive on tires that would be street legal, not out-and-out race tires.
