Tune-Up Party at Atria’s

Wednesday, July 15, 2015  6:00 – 9:00 PM

#PVGP Tune-Up at Atria's sponsored by Metz Lewis

#PVGP Tune Up at Atrias sponsored by Metz LewisThe Grand Prix’s 10th annual Tune-Up event starts inside Atria’s at PNC Park and spills out onto the sidewalks, on Federal Street and across the entire Roberto Clemente (Sixth Street) Bridge towards downtown with over 125 race and show cars on display. It is a spectacular event highlighted by a display of historic and vintage race cars in front of Atria’s and a spectacular car show on the bridge.

The best part is that you can participate in the evening’s car show. When you buy your tickets on-line you can also purchase a reserved space on the bridge for your special car.

Kate Benz of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review selected it as one of the Best Parties of 2014 and summed it up best saying “the summer staple underwent a brilliant transformation this year thanks to a decision to move the festivities from its former location Downtown to the area in front of Atria’s at PNC Park on the North Side. There, the streets had been closed off, including the Sixth Street Bridge, much to the delight of a crowd that swelled by the minute.”

Metz Lewis Web LogoMany thanks to our sponsor Metz Lewis Brodman Must O’Keefe, our Tune-Up committee, PVGP volunteers, the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County for helping us put together a grand event. $23,800 was raised for our charities from this single night event!

To help make the move-in easier we have made a few changes this year – all cars parking on the bridge will enter from the downtown side of the 6th Street Bridge and all cars invited into the Race Car Corral on Federal Street will enter from the PNC Park side of the Bridge. No cars will be allowed to enter the 6th Street bridge or Federal Street until 6:00 pm – no exceptions.

Tickets are $40 per person and include admittance into Atria’s and two complimentary drinks and a commemorative glass from Multi Print Media. Atria’s is preparing a special menu of racing related appetizers, sandwiches and entrees that will be prepared quickly and discounted for our guests.

The event was sold out last year so if you want to attend you really should purchase tickets in advance. This should also help speed up the registration process. There are three ways to attend our event.

1. You can buy individual tickets for $40 each. Tickets are not mailed –  your name will be on the guest list at the door. This does not include a space for your car in the show on the bridge. Purchase Individual Tickets ($40 each)

2. You can enter your car into the Car Show on the Bridge for $25 – you are required to purchase tickets into the event for $40 each. You can not put your car in the show without also purchasing tickets into Atria’s. No tickets are mailed – your name will be on the guests list as you enter the car show. You will receive your wrist bands and complimentary glass and drink tickets when you enter the bridge. Please enter from the downtown side – there will be no bridge admittance from the North Shore. - Participate in the Car Show ($25) and Purchase Tickets ($40 each)

3. Tickets may be available at the door, but we are anticipating a sell-out in advance and advise you to purchase tickets here in advance.

This is a charity event that is held rain or shine and no refunds will be made.

Purchase Individual Tickets ($40 each)

- Participate in the Car Show on the Bridge ($25) and Purchase Tickets ($40 each)
