Car enthusiasts test their driving and navigation skills on a “mystery course” through the streets of Pittsburgh. This is a fun, casual event that starts in Oakland and ends at the Spaghetti Warehouse in the Strip District. There will be a special award category for Mini participants.
$60.00 per car entry includes meal for driver and navigator, $15 for each additional guest.
Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala

Our annual black-tie celebrates automobiles at Longue Vue Club in Verona. You can count on a display of Mini’s.
$200 per person until June 1, then tickets are $250 each (tickets not available at the door)
PVGP Historic Races at Pitt-Race Complex
July 11-13 Weekend 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Come out to watch an exciting variety of vintage (pre 1959) and historic (post 1960) racing.. Reserved parking for Mini Marque participants will be available at the Car Corral tent on the hill overlooking the final turn of the race circuit. The Wilson Karting Track at PIRC will be open to the public during our race weekend so spectators can take part in some racing of your own. $20 for 10 minutes (approximately 10 laps). On Saturday night bring out your Mini and drag race on the front straight of the track with the Flashlight Drags!
$20 per person for lunch each day, plus $15 daily entry into racetrack.
Walnut Street Invitational Car Show

Nestled on Shadyside’s charming Walnut Street you’ll find over 125 rare, classic and exotic cars, including a special display of Mini’s. The Car Show is free and open to the public, show cars by invitation only.
No cost to attend this event.
Car Cruise at the Waterfront
Tuesday, July 15 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Join 750 car owners at the Waterfront in Historic Homestead and see even more cars of all marques. All Mini owners are invited and welcome – a special parking area will be reserved.
$5 donation per car requested at the entrance
Downtown Parade & Car Display
Wednesday, July 16 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
100 race and show cars will parade through Pittsburgh to car displays at the U.S. Steel Plaza, PPG Place and Market Square from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. There will be a special all day car show at the Fort Pitt Museum at Point State Park. There will be space for over two dozen Mini’s within our 4 shows.
No cost to participate in show or parade or to attend.
PVGP Tune-Up at Bossa Nova
Wednesday, July 16 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
A Happy Hour/Nightime Car Show at Bossa Nova on 7th Street. $40 Entry includes one complimentary drink and tapas. A display of two dozen race cars will be parked out front with a few special Mini’s scheduled to appear. Event open to public, display cars by invitation only.

Thursday, July 17 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix will host a Countryside Tour as part of its race week events and you’re invited. This tour will start at a location-to-be-determined in Pittsburgh. The tour will take you along the back roads of Pennsylvania with a lunch time destination at the English style Coventry Inn in Indiana. After lunch the tour will continue along the back roads and return to Pittsburgh
The cost of the tour is $60.00 and will include your car entry and two people. Lunch for two people at the Coventry Inn is included. If you elect to have one car and lunch for one person, the cost is only $45.00. Space is limited to 30 cars or 60 lunches, so please register early. All Mini’s are welcome to participate.

Forbes Avenue of Speed
Friday July 18
The parade will feature 100 race cars and a special selection of Mini’s as they depart the paddock and parade into nearby Squirrel Hill. A driver’s reception is hosted by Orr’s Jewelers on Forbes Avenue.
MINI Show at Schenley Park
Saturday July 19 and Sunday July 20 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
All Mini owners are invited to take part in the weekend festivities at Schenley Park. Participants will be treated to lunch and refreshments. A Race Program and dash plaque, are included with registration. There are plans for a display of new, vintage and race significant Mini’s. During the weekend 2,000 cars from all parts of the world are displayed on the golf course.
Vintage Race Practice & Qualifying Heats
Saturday, July 21 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
175 Vintage racers practice in seven morning groups and qualify for Sunday’s featured races in the afternoon. At least a dozen Mini’s will be entered with various groups throughout the day.

Sunoco Vintage Lap Experience
Saturday, July 21 noon – 12:45 PM
Take this rare opportunity to experience a lap of the Schenley race circuit as a passenger in an actual vintage racecar. Feel the wind as your experienced driver navigates the 2.3 mile track at speeds that will surprise and invigorate you.

Opening Ceremonies/Parade Lap
Sunday, July 22 10:45 – 11:45 am
Marque of the Year Mini’s take a parade lap of the track, joined by Patron Parkers, our Grand Marshal, Presenting Sponsor Shop ‘n Save, and local government officials. Afterward MOY participants drive back to the tent to enjoy the afternoon’s car shows and races.
Vintage Racing at Schenley Park
Sunday, July 20 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Watch seven vintage race groups on the track participating in 8-lap practice races in the morning then sit back and enjoy our main event; the Winner’s Circle vintage races in the afternoon. There will be a special MINI Marque race too!
