A Full Day of Grand Prix Activities Downtown Today

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix begins today with a parade of show cars through downtown Pittsburgh at 10:00 am that settles into three locations for a car display at US Steel Plaza, PPG Place and Market Square. Over 100 cars are expected to participate.

Preview some of the cars that will be in the International Car Show at Schenley Park this coming weekend. There will be a few race cars as well including Pittsburgh racers Michael and Colby Schindel and their Porsche 911 at Market Square as part of an 11:15 am press conference. The parade starts from Station Square at 10:00 am and winds through downtown. Details


The cars will remain on display until 2:00 pm and many will cross the river for our Tune-Up Party @ Atria’s tonight.

This is a can’t miss event that fills Federal Street and covers the Roberto Clemente Bridge with race and show cars from 6:00 – 10:00 pm. Details  Tickets are still available at the door – $40 per person.

All proceeds benefit our charities. Since 1983 the PVGP has raised $4.75 for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and NHS/Allegheny Valley Schools.
