PVGP HISTORIC RACES AT BEAVERUN
JULY 11/12, 2009

{vrg}     {2}   {Mustang}   {BeaveRun}
Join us at BeaveRun as we kick off our week long festival of races, car shows and motorsport events

As just about any one in the vintage racing world knows, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is held in Schenley Park has grown into one of the premier world wide vintage events. Given that it is a very tight street course with curbs and stone walls - many cars and drivers are unable to compete here. In 2004 we came up with a solution to that dilemma - the purpose built track at BeaveRun MotorSports Complex in Beaver Falls Now you get the best of both worlds!

Most of us have raced at both big and small vintage events and many of us have driven at some very Historic places. Watkins Glen, Bridgehampton, Lime Rock, Monterey, Sebring, but in today's world while racing at these tracks is fun and perhaps lets us believe we are Phil Hill, Dan Gurney, Sterling Moss or whomever was your racing hero, it is still just one more vintage race. What sets the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix apart from any other vintage race is what we accomplish while we race. We have helped raise over $2.4 million dollars for two very worthwhile charities. The Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley School. Both of these charities work with individuals that really need our help.

All vintage & historic cars meeting VRG specifications from pre-war to 1972 are invited to race to the BeaveRun Historics. If you own a car built after 1972 (that is not a continuation car, MGB, TR6, Nissan 240Z, etc) and believe you and your car would fit in with us please contact me directly and we will see.

So here you go... Come out and race for two days with some great people and some great cars at a very safe and fun course and at the same time help us help others right here at home. And unlike so many other events that claim that your money will go to help this or that charity you know it will here. Your tax deductible entry fee will be made out directly to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association.
