Combined Car Show at Schenley Park Golf Course
Weekend July 18/19, 2009

Each July Schenley Park is the scene of one of the area's largest car shows. Celebrate this unique motorsport event! It's an open show with no judging or requirements. All makes are welcome, whether or not you're with a car club.
 
The combined car shows includes 2000 cars including classic, antique, and exotic vehicles from all countries. For info email PVGP Car Show Chairperson Bob Speer  
 

{USA}  American Car Display
Model A's to Z-28's and everything in between. Featuring cars from early 1900's to present day. Classics, customs, street rods, muscle cars and motorcycles are all welcome to the display on the golf course below the clubhouse.

{British}  British Car Day
One of the highlights of Race Weekend is British Car Day, sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Triumph Association featuring 500 of England's best sport and luxury sport automobiles. Held only on Saturday, July 18 only.
 
You must register directly with the WPTA to participate in British Car Day.

{BMW} BMW - Marque of the Year
Look for several hundred BMW's to be featured as our Marque of the Year along the third fairway of the golf course. The Allegheny Chapter BMW Club is hard at work planning a spectacular calendar of events.
 
 
 

{German}  European Car Display
Highlighting a variety of autos from Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, VW and Italy. This display is on German Hill, near turn 13 and the third hole on the Schenley Park Golf Course. The Mercedes-Benz Club and Porsche Club Registration - PDF have been terrific supporters of our event for many years. To participate in their display we ask that you register directly with these sponsor organizations. Contact Mark Sheldon at the PVGP with questions.

{Italy}  Italian Cortile
The Italian 2008 Marque of the Year festivities were so successful that Bernie Martin and his crew are working to establish a seperate Italian "Cortile" Car Display along the 18th hole adjacent to the Pittsburgh Golf Club.

{Asian}  Asian Car Display
This is a growing segment of our car shows with great representation from Mazda and Subaru.
 
Your Pittsburgh Area Subaru Dealers are sponsoring a Subaru tent complete with lunch and drinks. A special form is required for Subaru owners and will be available here in early 2009.

Notice For Schenley Park Car Shows!
No confirmations are sent to those who preregister.  Please show up at Schenley Park at 9:30 AM both days via the Squirrel Hill entrance to Schenley Drive. One of our volunteers will have you on our registered list and will direct you to the applicable location. You are also welcome to pay at the gate on Saturday if you have not registered in advance.  

  The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission to hold a world-class vintage automotive event for charity. Since 1983 this volunteer-driven event has raised over $2 million dollars for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh & Allegheny Valley School.
