All Italian cars, all makes and ages, are welcome to the second annual Cortile Italian Car Show. Enjoy the entire weekend at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix overlooking the car shows on the Schenley Park Golf Course. Italian cars will be displayed on the 18th hole of the golf course. Enjoy a spectacular Italian lunch on Saturday within the cool comfort of the adjacent Pittsburgh Golf Club.

The Sunday Cortile car show does not include lunch or entry to the clubhouse, but there will be a special private trackside viewing area at the Westinghouse Fountain (Turn 9) for Cortile participants to watch the races. Your cars will be on display on Sunday and PVGP staff will be on hand in the Cortile area all day.

The entrance to the Cortile is on Northumberland Street, off of Forbes Avenue, just below the Schenley Park Golf Course clubhouse. Show opens each day at 9:30 AM and cars are displayed from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Cortile and Grand Prix are held rain or shine.

On Saturday we're inviting the Italian race car drivers up for lunch which will culminate in a "LeMans" start back to the Paddock. Local opera tenor John Walter will be entertaining us during lunch. We're also working on a live broadcast of the Hockenheim F1 race so that we can get a callout on SpeedTV during the broadcast. We'll be shooting some video inside and outside the Cortile for our YouTube channel and posting that on our SpeedTV site.

Buongiorno!!

Welcome to "The Cortile ", the Italian Car Show at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. As you probably already know we are the only Vintage Race held on city streets in North America and includes some white knuckle off-camber turns brushing stone walls in s-bends downhill. We host a great array of Vintage Italian cars in an exclusive car show on the golf course alongside the Pittsburgh Golf Club.

After the resounding success ofthe PVGP's 2008 "Marque of the Year" celebration of "All Italian Cars"  we created a unique area, more opulent than any other show area, and befitting the gorgeous Italian gems that participate. So in 2009 the Cortile was formed, now in its second year has already established itself as one of the top Italian Car Shows in the region.

It just seemed natural that while you're enjoying the wonderful luncheon prepared by one of our participants (and Professional Chef), Jim Shaw, that you might enjoy looking at some local automotive artwork.
And it DOESN'T end there! The Cortile boasts a "Museum" featuring some of the MOST VERY private collections of automotive enthusiasts racing memorabilia from not just Italian auto's but from all of the Marques at the Grand Prix.

The Cortile . It's a nice place to rest and have a glass of wine, enjoy some fabulous artwork, and see some classic vintage cars racing surrounded by a myriad of car shows and just a short jaunt to the Jaguar Concourse.

What is The Cortile ?
In Italian "Cortile" translates into courtyard which is an appropriate name for our display of fine Italian automobiles on the 18th fairway of the Bob O'Connor Golf Course at Schenley Park. This will be a one day show for Italian cars only. All Italian cars, all makes and ages are welcome to this new one day event. Enjoy the day at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix overlooking the combined car show on the Schenley Park Golf Course. Italian cars will be displayed around the 17th green and 18th tee on the golf course, which is also next to the Jaguar Concours. It should be a spectacular day.

Forum
For those Italians new to the net a forum is not the ancient city next to the Colosseum in Rome...it's a private social network to see some of the very fine pieces of machinery that will be stopping by The Cortile: Link to PVGP Cortile Forum
